Bathroom vanity manufacturer in Dubai: our own workshop

A bathroom vanity manufacturer in Dubai machines the carcass and cuts the stone top rather than importing a finished unit. Just Right Interior Decoration LLC builds made-to-measure vanity units in our own Dubai workshop and installs them across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Manufacturer, reseller or fit-out contractor: why it changes your price and warranty

Where you buy decides who is accountable when a drawer front swells or a tap cut-out sits 10mm off. The table below is the honest version of the market.

Who you buy fromWhere the unit is madeTypical price, 1,200mm double vanityWho fixes a problem
Showroom resellerImported, completeAED 4,500 to 6,500 plus AED 800 to 1,500 installShowroom, then the overseas factory
Fit-out contractorSub-contracted joineryBundled into a full bathroom packageMain contractor, then the joiner
Workshop manufacturerMachined in DubaiAED 6,000 to 8,000 all-inThe workshop that built it

A reseller can be cheaper on the ticket and dearer on the fix. Imported carcasses follow standard widths, so a 1,320mm alcove in a Dubai Marina apartment gets filler panels instead of a proper fit, and tap cut-outs get drilled on site with a hole saw.

Fit-out contractors are not the problem. Vanity joinery simply is not their core trade, and when it is one line in a AED 60,000 bathroom package the drawing often goes to a workshop nobody has visited.

Inside our Dubai workshop: carcass machining, edge banding, 1:1 build

Panel cutting and carcass machining

Every panel is cut from a cutting list generated from your approved drawing, not from a stock size. We machine service holes for waste pipes, allow for skirting, and set drawer depths around the actual trap position.

Edge banding and assembly

All exposed edges are banded before assembly. This is the biggest single difference between a vanity that survives ten years in a Dubai bathroom and one that swells along the bottom edge in eighteen months. Carcasses are dowelled and cam-locked, with the back panel set into a rebate.

Built 1:1 to your approved drawing

We issue a dimensioned drawing showing width, height, depth, drawer split, handle positions and every cut-out. Nothing is cut until you approve it. If your wall is 6mm out of square at the top, that is on the drawing before the saw is switched on.

Carcass and top options we machine in-house

The carcass and the top do different jobs, so we treat them separately.

  • Marine-grade plywood carcass. The default for bathrooms. Handles humidity, holds a hinge plate, and can be re-drilled years later.
  • Moisture-resistant MDF with HPL faces. Smoother finish and more colours at a lower cost. Best for wall-hung units above the floor splash line.
  • Solid wood fronts. A custom solid wood bathroom vanity reads warmer than any laminate. We seal the end grain properly, because wood and standing water do not negotiate.
  • Natural stone tops. Marble, quartz and sintered stone, templated after the carcass is installed. Vein direction and cut-outs are agreed before the slab is cut.
  • Solid surface tops. Seamless joins and easy repairs, good for long double runs where you want no visible joint.

For thickness, sealing and staining risk, see which carcass and stone top to choose in Dubai.

What a made-to-measure vanity costs in Dubai

Most of our units land between AED 6,000 and AED 8,000 all-in, covering the site measure, the drawing, the carcass, the top and installation. It is a fixed figure agreed before we start, not an estimate that drifts.

Worked example: a 1,200mm double sink run in Dubai Marina

  • Carcass in marine-grade plywood with HPL internals: about AED 3,200
  • Marble top, templated and installed: about AED 2,100
  • Two soft-close drawer boxes and hardware: about AED 700
  • Site measure, delivery and installation: about AED 900
  • Total: near AED 6,900

Where the number moves:

  • Length. Each extra 300mm of run adds about AED 500 to 900, depending on drawer configuration.
  • Stone. A local marble is not a Carrara slab. Book-matched or honed finishes add AED 800 and up.
  • Cut-outs. Wall-mounted taps, shaving sockets and hidden waste positions need extra machining, roughly AED 150 to 300 each.
  • Access. A high-floor Abu Dhabi apartment with a small service lift costs more in labour than a ground-floor villa in Dubai.

The 14-day build and install timeline

Fourteen days is the normal span from approved drawing to finished unit.

  1. Day 0. Site measure. Wall to wall at three heights, plus trap, socket and floor levels.
  2. Days 1 to 2. Dimensioned drawing issued for your approval.
  3. Days 3 to 5. Panels cut, edge banded, service holes machined.
  4. Days 6 to 8. Carcass assembled, drawer boxes fitted, runners and hardware set.
  5. Days 9 to 10. Doors and fronts finished and sealed. Stone cut and edges polished.
  6. Days 11 to 13. Plumbing rough-in completed if it needs moving. Vanity set and levelled.
  7. Day 14. Top installed, silicone lines run, unit cleaned and handed over.

Abu Dhabi jobs are usually scheduled as one long install day with the unit delivered by van. We would rather tell you the stone needs two extra days than rush a template.

Six questions to ask any vanity manufacturer before you pay a deposit

  1. Where is the workshop, and can I visit it? A real manufacturer gives you an address and a machine floor. A warehouse with no saw is a reseller.
  2. How many drawing revisions are included? Get at least two in writing, plus one signed drawing before cutting starts.
  3. How do you handle sanitary-ware cut-outs? Basin, waste and tap positions belong on the same drawing, not worked out on site.
  4. Who owns the plumbing rough-in, and is it DEWA-compliant? Wall-mounted taps need the rough-in at the right height before the stone is templated.
  5. What does the warranty actually cover? Ask separately about carcass, finish, hardware and stone.
  6. Will someone measure on site, or am I sending numbers? Measurements taken by the person who installs the unit are the cheapest insurance you can buy. Request a free vanity drawing and quote and we will book the visit.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom bathroom vanity cost in Dubai?

Most made-to-measure vanity units cost between AED 6,000 and AED 8,000 all-in, covering the site measure, drawing, carcass, top and installation. A 1,200mm double sink run in a Dubai Marina apartment with a marble top typically sits near AED 6,900. Longer runs, book-matched stone and extra drawer banks push the figure higher.

How long does a bespoke vanity take from drawing to installation?

About 14 days from the day you approve the drawing. Cutting and edge banding take three days, assembly and finishing take five, and stone templating and installation fill the rest. If the slab has to come from an Abu Dhabi supplier, add two or three days.

Can you build a vanity in a non-standard size or an awkward alcove?

Yes. Every unit is built to your approved 1:1 drawing, so a 1,320mm alcove gets a 1,320mm carcass rather than a standard 1,200mm unit with filler panels. We measure wall to wall at three heights because apartments in Dubai Marina are rarely square.

Do you make solid wood bathroom vanity units?

Yes. Solid wood frames, door fronts and drawer fronts are sealed and edge-sealed so the end grain does not drink water. We will tell you honestly when marine-grade plywood with a veneered or HPL finish is the better choice for your bathroom.

Do you deliver and install in Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai?

Yes. We install across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with Abu Dhabi jobs usually scheduled as a single install day and the unit delivered by van. Delivery and installation are included in the AED 6,000 to 8,000 all-in price.
