What a made-to-measure vanity unit includes

A made-to-measure vanity unit is a complete assembly, not a cabinet with a top dropped on it. Our units arrive as one finished piece with the carcass, doors, drawers, top, basin and waste built to the exact width, depth and height of your wall.

What comes in a standard build:

  • Carcass panels cut to your wall width, usually 500mm to 550mm deep
  • Doors and drawers with soft-close hinges and runners
  • A quartz top cut for the basin and tap holes, with matching upstands
  • One or two basins, vessel or under-mount
  • Mixer taps, waste and trap, or drilling for taps you supply yourself
  • Fitting, silicone sealing and a final clean at handover

We do not buy standard units and cut them down. Every panel is cut after we have your numbers, and every vanity is produced full scale from the drawing you approve. If your bathroom has a pipe box, a wall running out of square or a window ledge above the unit, that is drawn in before manufacturing instead of solved on site with filler.

Single, double and wall-hung: choosing the size and layout

For most apartment bathrooms in the UAE a single unit between 60cm and 80cm works best. Master bathrooms in villas usually take a double at 120cm to 150cm.

Single vanity units

Suits guest bathrooms and en suites with limited wall length. A 60cm or 70cm single with one drawer and one door is our most common order, and it still leaves enough floor space to open the bathroom door fully.

Double vanity units

Two basins on one run, typically 120cm and above. Leave at least 200mm between the basins so two people can use them without knocking elbows. This is the size we build most often for villa master bathrooms.

Wall-hung or floating units

A wall-hung carcass sits on a steel frame fixed into the wall, so the floor stays clear. In tighter bathrooms it reads much larger than a floor-standing unit of the same width. Wall-hung needs the waste and water supply inside the wall, which is straightforward on a new fit-out and needs a small amount of plumbing work on a renovation.

Height and clearance

Standard top height is 850mm from finished floor to the top surface, with 200mm to 300mm of upstand above. Leave at least 700mm of clear floor in front of the unit so drawers open without hitting your legs.

Carcass materials and quartz tops

The carcass decides whether the unit survives UAE humidity. The top decides how it looks and how it wears. We build with materials chosen for bathroom use, not for a dry bedroom wardrobe.

PartWhat we build withWhy it matters
CarcassMarine plywood, moisture-resistant MDF, solid woodThese resist swelling and delamination in a steamy bathroom
FrontsLacquer, laminate, veneer or painted MDFLacquer wipes clean, veneer shows real grain
TopQuartz in Super White, Black, Calacatta Miranda or Statuario ExclusiveQuartz is non-porous, so no annual sealing and no staining
BasinCeramic or stone vessel, or under-mountVessel for a furniture look, under-mount for easy wiping
HardwareSoft-close hinges and runners, chrome or brushed brass handlesThese are the parts you touch every day, so they matter

A quartz upstand is included in the price. A full height quartz splashback behind the unit is priced by area, and it is a popular upgrade in villas because it removes grout lines from the wettest part of the wall.

We do not use standard chipboard in bathrooms. It looks fine in a showroom and swells around the first leak. Within this range you are paying for materials that hold up. For more detail on finishes and upkeep, there are more bathroom vanity guides in our articles section.

What a custom vanity unit costs in the UAE

For a 120cm double unit with a marine ply carcass, lacquer fronts, a quartz top in Super White, two under-mount basins, two chrome mixers, delivery and installation, the all-in price is normally AED 6,000 to AED 8,000.

A rough split for that unit:

  • Carcass, doors and drawers: AED 2,400 to AED 3,000
  • Quartz top and upstands: AED 1,400 to AED 1,900
  • Basins and mixers: AED 900 to AED 1,400, or less if you supply your own taps
  • Delivery, installation, sealing and clean-up: AED 700 to AED 1,000
  • Drawings, hardware and finishing: the balance of the range

A few things move the number: a wider unit, a deeper top, two stone basins instead of ceramic, brushed brass fittings or LED strips inside the drawers. Narrower single units come in below this range because there is less carcass and less stone. Every price is quoted per project after we see the wall, the plumbing positions and the access.

Built 1:1 to your approved drawing in our Jebel Ali factory

Every vanity is built full scale, 1:1, to the drawing you approve first. That drawing carries the exact width, depth, height, basin positions, tap holes, drawer layout and material callouts. Nothing is cut until you sign it off, which is why the finished unit fits the first time.

Production runs in Jebel Ali, Dubai from start to finish. Once you approve the drawing, the usual lead time is around 14 days for a standard vanity, covering cutting, edge banding, spraying, stone cutting and assembly. Pieces with curved fronts or double thickness edges take a little longer, and we say so before you pay a deposit.

We hold a Google rating of 5 from 3 reviews, and the feedback that repeats is about detail and timing.

Delivery, installation and how to order across the UAE

We deliver and install across all seven Emirates from the Jebel Ali factory. Dubai and Sharjah jobs are usually fitted within a day of loading, while Abu Dhabi and the northern Emirates are booked as a full installation day. The same team that built the unit carries out the fit. You can see vanity units we've built and installed across the UAE in our portfolio.

Bathrooms differ by emirate in one practical way. Villa master bathrooms in Abu Dhabi often have wall lengths that take a 150cm double with room to spare, while older apartment bathrooms in Sharjah and Dubai are narrower, so a wall-hung unit at 60cm to 80cm does the same job in less floor space. Send photos and rough measurements on WhatsApp to +971544833966 and we will tell you what fits before anything is drawn.

How the order runs:

  1. Send your wall measurements, photos and any sketches on WhatsApp.
  2. We check what is possible and visit the site for a final measure where needed.
  3. You receive a drawing with every dimension, material and finish listed.
  4. You approve the drawing and pay the deposit.
  5. We build the vanity 1:1 in Jebel Ali, normally in about 14 days.
  6. Our team installs, seals and cleans up, and you settle the balance.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver and install bathroom vanity units across the UAE?

Yes. We manufacture in Jebel Ali, Dubai and install everywhere in the Emirates, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the northern Emirates. Delivery and installation sit inside the all-in price, so there is no separate fit-out bill at the end.

How long does a custom vanity unit take?

Around 14 days from the day you approve the drawing to the day we install. That covers cutting, spraying, stone work and assembly. Site measurement and drawing approval usually add a few days at the start of the process.

Will a wooden vanity unit survive bathroom humidity?

Yes, if the carcass is built for it. We use marine plywood, moisture-resistant MDF or solid wood, with sealed edges and a quartz top that does not absorb water. Standard chipboard is the material that fails in bathrooms, which is why we do not use it.

Should I choose a single or double vanity unit?

Measure your available wall length first. Below 100cm, a single unit at 60cm to 80cm is the sensible choice. From 120cm upwards you can fit two basins, which suits a master bathroom used by two people at the same time in the morning.

What is included in the AED 6,000 to AED 8,000 price?

A typical 120cm double vanity with a marine ply carcass, lacquer fronts, a quartz top and upstands, two basins, two mixers, delivery, installation and sealing. Larger units, stone basins, brass fittings and full height splashbacks are quoted on top of that range.
